After re-watching She’s all that recently, I started to wonder what’s going on with Rachael Leigh Cook’s career now. Armed with my google-fu, I opened a pandora’s box of where-the-hell-are-your-castmates-nao.
First off, I found out that Pubeboy/Derek continued to star as the geeky/gawky/bully kid and is now more popular by the namesake “Sherminator” from the movie American Pie.
Milo Ventimiglia who is now more popular as Peter Petrelli of the Heroes’ fame, cameod as one of those soccer boys that Zack’s (Freddie Prince Jr.) character had cleaning Laney’s (Rachael Leigh Cook) house.
Speaking of Heroes:
Clea DuVall, who played the part of Misty, the girl in art class who also bullies Laney, was FBI Agent Audrey Hanson in Heroes.
Then we have Lil Kim, who played the part of one of Taylor’s posse, Alex. I really can’t gauge if Lil Kim’s boobs got bigger from 10 years ago.
Then there’s the “Unnamed Campus DJ” who is more popularly known as Usher, aka Justin Bieber’s boyfran.
Anna Paquin, who was Zack’s little sister, Mackenzie in the movie and was responsible for Laney’s fabulous makeover; has now developed a southern accent and snogs vampires of her own in the HBO series Trueblood.
Jesse was Laney’s dorky bestfriend and continued to play dorky characters in various movies and series afterwards. One of his more popular characters was Agent Gunnar in Denzel Washington’s Deja vu
